Luke Jackson
Luke Jackson was born in Camiore, Italy on the coast of Tuscany and raised in Wyoming. His father was a well known painter and sculptor, his mother a singer and songwriter, so he was born into a world of art, creativity, and contrarian impulses. He studied in Seattle and Maine before going to University in Florence and also Bristol in the UK where he met his mentor that would change his entire artistic inquiry. He moved to New York in 2004 and has for the last 19 years been painting, drawing, photographing and designing whenever and wherever he can. He currently lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
