Wendy Cohen

Biography

Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based contemporary artist whose practice explores the interplay of color, movement, materiality, and emotion. She holds BFA and MFA degrees and has exhibited at Art Expo NYC, Spectrum Miami, Art San Diego, and The Other Art Fair Sydney. Her work has been featured in international publications and recognized with honors including the Global Masterpiece Award, The Legends Award from Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, and recognition among ArtTour International's Top 60 Masters

Artist Statement

Working through an intuitive process of observation, exploration, and discovery, Wendy combines expressive brushwork, mark-making, multi-layered forms, and collage elements to create richly textured compositions. Color plays a central role in her practice, generating rhythm, harmony, and a sense of movement that reflects her connection between visual art and music.
