Biography

I am an artist in my DNA. I did theatre as a child and as a teenager my first love in art and at the same time, I painted. It was a revelation, and I knew it would be my life : to be an artist.

I have been exhibiting since 1996. At 40, the artist's life came knocking at my door again, and I seized the chance to take all my dreams out of that box and let them live.

I am stubborn, passionate, sensitive, intuitive, and endlessly curious. I love to observe life and people, and to draw from all of it to shape my own personal expression “un art de vivre “ joy, hope, and light, carried through gold, pigment, and matter.

I am now an international artist, with the desire to continue on this path, discovering and travelling the world to open my mind and heart.

Artist Statement

I never do things halfway. When I decide on something, I do everything possible to make it real. I never give up, and I follow my intuition. Paper and pigments are my favorite foundation to work from, and I love using gold, whether as paint or leaf as a medium of light. I also love working with natural matter: coffee grounds, plants, flowers, spices... anything that lets me create a dialogue between the material and myself.

My inspiration comes from the beauty of nature, cinema (one of my passions), literature, music, paintings, other artists like J.M.W. Turner, Zao Wu-Ki, Van Gogh, H.R. Giger, Frida Kahlo Beaudelaire, Almodòvar, Marilyn Monroe, Gaudì, Prince, U2, Satie…, so many artists that I "meet" in the exhibitions and the museums.

I want to share my Joy and Love of Life in my art, to open minds and hearts. I’m grateful for all the gifts, awards, and international prizes I received and continue to receive in my life, and crazy art journey.
