Biography

Bolet, is an award winning Venezuelan/American artist born in Cadiz, Spain. Graduated from the Escuela de artes visuales Cristobal Rojas, Caracas. Studied philosophy and philosophy of the Arts, comics, graphic design and advanced drawing techniques. Bolet is also the author of Rendering in Black, 25 drawings across USA. Xlibris, 2015.

Artist Statement

Bolet has developed his artwork focusing on the emotional and psychological aspects of modern life. His work, mostly in black ink, charcoal and watercolor explores the isolation and complexity associated with a constant changing environment and concepts that create not only confusion and anxiety but also a sense of uncertainty and fear.
