Rudik Petrosyan
Biography
From a very young age, I was already painting. After graduating from Terlemezian Art College, I continued my education at the State Academy of Art in Yerevan, Armenia. During my years as a student, my name as an artist became far-reaching, extending to Moscow and Saint Petersburg. That is why I became a member of the Union of Soviet Artists and the Union of Armenian Artists in the early stages of my career.
Many contracts were awarded to me by the Ministries of Culture of Russia and Armenia. Some of my paintings are in the permanent collections of museums in Moscow (Tretyakov), Ukraine, and Armenia. Collectors from around the world, including Japan, Germany, England, Italy, France, and the USA, have my paintings in their collections.
Many prizes have been awarded to me. Numerous churches are decorated with my oil paintings and icons. I have participated in many exhibitions around the world and have had many art students during my career.
